Oxford's housing is defined by its period character: the tall Victorian villas of North Oxford, Georgian and Edwardian townhouses near the centre, honey-coloured stone cottages on the Cotswold edge, and a growing number of high-specification new builds and college-adjacent conversions. Spaces like these are rarely served well by off-the-shelf furniture, which is exactly the kind of brief we specialise in.
We work with Oxford clients remotely as standard, beginning with a video consultation to discuss the space, the brief and your fabric preferences. We post fabric samples to you so you can see colours and textures in your own light, and for clients who would like to see the full library in person, our Shipley studio is a direct journey by rail or road.
Every piece, from a single bespoke sofa to a full set of curtains or a complete room scheme, is designed, upholstered and finished in our West Yorkshire workshop using fabrics from houses such as Designers Guild, Sanderson Design Group, Colefax and Fowler, Osborne and Little, Nina Campbell and Ralph Lauren Home. We then arrange delivery and installation in Oxford, so the only thing required of you locally is the space itself.

How does the design process work if I am not near your Shipley studio?
