We manufacture what we specify
Most commercial interiors involve a designer who specifies and a separate supplier who manufactures. We do both from one studio in Shipley, West Yorkshire. That matters on contract work because the person answering for the finish is the person who made it — there is no gap between drawing and delivery for a problem to fall into, and no third party to coordinate when a date moves.
Contract specification comes first
Commercial fabrics have to clear requirements domestic fabrics never face: fire performance appropriate to the setting, rub counts suited to constant use, and cleanability that survives a real cleaning regime. We set those constraints before the aesthetic decisions, not after, which is why our contract work still looks considered rather than institutional. A hotel banquette takes more wear in a year than a domestic sofa takes in a decade, and it is specified accordingly.
Programme is part of the brief
An operating hotel, restaurant or care facility cannot close while you fit it out. We sequence production and installation around trading and occupancy, and our own team handles delivery and fitting. On multi-site rollouts we schedule production across properties rather than letting them compete for the same capacity, so the standard holds from the first site to the last.
Which sectors we work in
Hotels and hospitality, restaurants and bars, healthcare and care homes, and purpose-built student accommodation. The common thread is furniture and soft furnishings that have to look right and survive heavy public use at the same time. Our commercial portfolio includes The Washington Mayfair Hotel, Courthouse Hotel Shoreditch and Aluna cocktail bar.
Where we work
We deliver commercial projects across the UK from our West Yorkshire studio, including Leeds, Manchester, London and Edinburgh. Manufacturing centrally and installing with our own team means distance is a logistics question rather than a limit on quality.
