The brief

This was a multi-site rollout rather than a single interior. Several OYO properties each needed bespoke headboards, curtains and soft furnishings delivered to a consistent standard, on a programme that could not slip, while still allowing each property enough character to avoid feeling like a template.

Our approach

We treated the rollout as a manufacturing and logistics problem as much as a design one. Specifications were standardised where consistency mattered — construction, fabric performance, fixing details — and varied deliberately where it did not, so individual properties retained their own warmth. Because we manufacture in-house, we could schedule production across sites rather than competing for capacity, and our own installation team worked to a fixed sequence property by property.

Materials and fabrics

Fabrics were selected for durability under high turnover: contract-grade upholstery and curtaining that tolerates frequent cleaning and heavy handling without going flat or shiny at the wear points. Headboards were built on frames specified for repeated knocks rather than domestic use, since in a hotel bedroom that is the piece that takes the most punishment.

The result

Every property received the same quality of finish, delivered to schedule. The rollout demonstrates the part of our capability that is easiest to overlook: scale without a drop in standard, and installation that lands on the dates the operator has already committed to.
