The brief

A private villa on the French Riviera, furnished entirely by ZEBA to an international luxury standard. The client's brief centred on understated Mediterranean elegance — warm, quiet and tactile rather than showy — and covered custom sofas, chairs, headboards and window treatments throughout the property.

Our approach

Furnishing a villa abroad from a Yorkshire studio makes coordination the critical discipline. Every piece was designed, produced and quality-checked in the UK, then consolidated and scheduled for delivery and installation on site so that the property was furnished in a single coordinated programme rather than in fragments arriving over months.

Materials and fabrics

The palette was built on warm linens, natural textures and hand-finished upholstery, chosen to suit strong Mediterranean daylight, which is far less forgiving than UK light and tends to flatten colours that look rich in a showroom. Fabrics were selected with that exposure in mind, and upholstery was finished by hand so the pieces hold their shape and character.

The result

A complete villa interior delivered to specification, several countries from where it was made. The project shows that our craftsmanship travels as readily as the clients who commission it, and that distance is a logistics question rather than a limit on quality.
